18 U.S.C. § 2257 Exemption

Notice to Visitors and Authorities

1. Declaration of Content Type

All visual depictions displayed on this website (astyris.com) and within our software products (including "Raze the Ashes") are purely fictional, computer-generated imagery (CGI), drawings, and digital art.

NO ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS are depicted in sexually explicit conduct. There is no "secondary producer" record-keeping requirement because there are no actual performers.

2. Statutory Exemption

Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2257(h)(1) and 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c)(1), the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 do not apply to:

"...any visual depiction of a person who is not a minor... if such visual depiction is a drawing, cartoon, sculpture, or painting."

3. Age of Characters

Notwithstanding the fictional nature of the content, it is the strict policy of Astyris Games Studio that all characters depicted in any situation of a sexual nature are visually designed and narratively established to be 18 years of age or older.
